FUN. TO KICK OFF FBR15 CELEBRATION IN NEW YORK!

The Fueled by Ramen recording group will take the stage on September 7th directly supporting Paramore, along with The Swellers and This Providence to celebrate the first night of the label’s 15th Anniversary Party.  The alternative act will present a clever live set including new and old material for the Terminal 5 crowd—a follow up performance to their set at this year’s Coachella and also recent run with label-mates Panic! at the Disco throughout North America.

Ingrained in their band name, fun. exudes all things amusing on and off the stage, a natural progression for three talented musicians that collaborate.  Composed of NATE RUESS (late of The Format), ANDREW DOST (ex-Anathallo multi-instrumentalist) and JACK ANTONOFF (of Steel Train), the band released an ingenious debut, “AIM AND IGNITE,” (2009) an up-to-the-minute pop vibrant and alive album, melding an array of diverse inspirations–spanning Broadway to the Beach Boys, “Nilsson Schmilsson” to “Pinkerton.”

As a follow up, fun. plans to continue their irresistible collection of freewheeling pop songcraft for a forthcoming FBR debut LP.  Stay tuned for more information on new album and tour dates!
